Why use a freelance web designer?
You'll work directly with the person building your website, ensuring clear communication and faster project turnaround. In addition to that, freelancers often have lower overheads, meaning you get high-quality work at a more budget-friendly price!How much does a freelance website designer charge?
Most website builds are charged by the project, with complex projects costing more.
I prefer to charge a monthly fee of £50 instead, which includes ongoing website support and maintenance.
A rough estimate of how much a project would cost if you paid for it in 1 lump sum is £2500 for a simple website, £4000+ for a more complex website.
How long does a website take to build from a freelance web designer?
The timeline for a website build depends on its complexity. A standard brochure website usually takes around 6 to 8 weeks from start to finish. For more complex projects, like e-commerce sites or those with custom features, it could take anywhere from 8 to 20 weeks. We'll always discuss your specific needs and provide a clear timeline during our initial discovery call. If you have a tight deadline, let's chat! You can choose a single payment for the website build, or opt for a monthly plan that includes ongoing website support, ensuring your site stays up-to-date and running smoothly. Many of our clients find the monthly plan provides peace of mind and excellent long-term value.What do I need to get started?
Nothing! I can help you start from absolute zero.
If you already have any branding, logos, photography, or content then all of that will help, but none of it is required for us to get started!
Will my website be Search Engine Friendly?
Yes! Your website will be built with SEO best practices in mind, including optimized performance, accessibility standards, and guidance on SEO-friendly content.Do you provide web hosting?
Yes, web hosting will be provided and is included in the monthly fee.Are there any limitations on how many revisions I can have?
There is no limitation on revisions but there is a 6 month timeline from when the project starts until I ask for the first payment to be made if we haven't already launched the site by then.Will I be able to edit my website once it's launched?
Yes, I will provide you with easy to understand user guides on how to edit your site and I will also walk you through how to make changes on one of our final video calls.-
